When most people think of chiropractic adjustments, they think of the popping noise that comes after the doctor pushes on their spine or adjusts
their neck. Although these motions and noises are harmless byproducts of joint motion can be a cause of concern for some patients.
There is another way to effect the chiropractic adjustment, the Activator Method.
The Activator Method is a two-part chiropractic system:
1) it is a painless system of analyzing your bones, muscles, and nervous system function.
2) it is a gentle, safe, and effective way to adjust.
Activator Methods was first developed in the 1960s as an alternative way to analyze and adjust chiropractic patients. It has proven so reliable and consistent
that the Activator instrument is now the most-utilized adjusting instrument used by chiropractors worldwide. Our patients appreciate the ease, gentleness, and effectiveness of our chiropractic analysis and adjustment.
A screening examination will help determine if you are a candidate for the conservative and non-surgical care that we offer. If you are, our detailed NMS diagnostic examination is designed to determine the underlying cause of your condition, the extent of any tissue damage, and what component of your issue is actually causing the symptoms that are affecting your life.
At Hagen Chiropractic we use a variety of Chiropractic Manipulative Techniques (also known as Chiropractic Adjustments). Subtle, gentle, manipulation of the neck and joints
is done with as little force as possible. There is no sudden twisting and therefore, less discomfort with this procedure. This type of manipulation can be performed on any joint in the body.
By using guided and specific exercises patients are able to work on rehabilitating and strengthening, even after severe injuries, much sooner and in ways that they are unable to do on their own. We can then make sure our patients are able to safely transition to home exercise options.
A variety of treatments utilizing electrical currents, repetitive motion, traction, hot and cold are utilized when appropriate to decrease pain and inflammation, stimulate improved circulation and tissue healing and to improve flexibility, motion, strength and endurance.
If your Neuromusculoskeletal and Biomechanical condition is affected by your weight, fitness, diet or nutritional deficiencies our Doctors and Staff will help guide you in lifestyle changes (coordinating with other health care providers when appropriate) to help you make the changes that will foster a quicker, more complete and longer lasting recovery.
